My first thought was the congregants of course! After further reading I saw the person went on to post that the mission owns the congregation. What a beautiful thought. I wonder what we could do if instead of thinking about who owns the congregation in terms of people (often brought up when we dislike the direction of our staff or leadership), we thought of our mission.
